Book didnot arrive when expected. Followed up on status response was "Book lost in mail." Had to scramble to buy another book. The process time for my full refund took bout 3 days. Found another book thru a much reliable site NOT thru amazon.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Warning: International Edition
This is the international edition. Marked not for sale in US. Says there are differences from US text.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - The Practice of Social Research
First time taking a research methods course and this textbook is chalk full of information! Sometimes the reading is tedious (technical jargon) but has very interesting case studies and like how it lists links to find more information on certain topics. I will keep this textbook for future reference.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Research for the novice
Language is simple and the book is written in a conversational style. Babbie is a considered one of the leaders in this area and his style is one that encourages learning in a non threatening manner. Excellent!
