Quite simply, my experience is that every pre-med student in America should use this set in the course of their studies for the MCAT. It is the most EFFICIENT use of your study time.
I bought this set a week and a half prior to my MCAT session. In the course of a week I reviewed through the texts just one time, studying about 10 hours a day and resulted a 34 (13 v, 11 phys, 10 bio). Let me begin by saying I have already taken the Kaplan course - which is atrocious compared to this book. Granted, you do not get an instructor to help if you still don't understand something, but using the books alone, Exam Crackers wins by far.
The books are MUCH easier to read, cover all of the material you need, and even come with nifty organic chem flash cards. Definitely worth the price.
