Rating: - History as a storyMy 10 year old grandson was enraptured by this book. He stayed glued to it until completion and has submitted his request for volume III. History as an exciting story. Rating: - Story of the World Volume 2This book is an amazing way to provide history for grades 1-5! I love this volume and all the other volumes as well. My kids really enjoy learning history and look forward to the next chapter. Rating: - Wonderful and EducationalThis book is such a great tool for teaching children. The chapters are a good length so not to bore the child. Most children want to continue reading and not stop. It is perfect and designed as a read aloud to young elementary age kids. I also recommend it for 6-8 graders as an independent read especially if you have not had much world history yet.
